Origins is the name and theme I chose for the 2024 Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting. Tens of thousands of neuroscientists attend this meeting from all over the globe. It is the real deal. The logo I created for Origins draws inspirations from Lance Wyman's 1968 Mexico Olympics branding and identity system. I made custom letters for the logotype, and I used the logo to create various concentric graphic elements that I used to create dynamic color and aesthetics. In the end, I wanted to make this conference fun and cool, something not seen in most science spaces.
