Play Fairy is a heartfelt project I started after an inspiring meeting with Cas Holman, where I shared my dream of becoming a designer for play. During my time as a nanny in a San Diego, I naturally began playworking at a local park. Someone called me the "park fairy," which Cas Holman found interesting and encouraged me to embrace it. Play Fairy was born, focusing on creating an environment for self-directed play.
I have been hosting days of play at the park, creating a growing community where children can explore, create, and reach a flow state in their play. People often find my practice selfless and  express their gratitude often.
I was always told that you should pay attention to what what you do for free. Right now, I am doing this work for free and it is my goal is to use my graphic design and early childhood knowledge to fund these efforts and spark an early childhood revolution, bringing the importance of play to the forefront of our community.
